Jarvis Christian University will host a historic event on campus as it inaugurates a new president on Thursday, March 21. 

President Dr. Glenell M. Lee-Pruitt will be inaugurated at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 21, in a special investiture ceremony in the E.W. Rand Center varsity gymnasium. She is the 13th president of Jarvis Christian University and only the second woman president. 

The university is launching the Presidential Circle of Friends to help raise funds for student scholarships. The Investiture ceremony will include the president officially taking the oath of office, and receiving a new presidential robe, medallion and a new university mace.
