Serving as the nucleus of the campus information environment, the OLRC plays a vital role in the search for knowledge, as it serves as a workshop for the entire college, students, faculty, and staff alike.

The OLRC's primary function is to serve and support the academic needs of the institution. In addition to providing books, journals and instructional material and media in both traditional and electronic formats, the college library is designed to facilitate research and study with open stacks and continuously available assistance from the library staff.
