JARVIS CHRISTIAN COLLEGE NATIONAL ALUMNI (JCCNA) PLEDGES $1,000,000 TO SUPPORT STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS AND RETENTION FOR THE 2012 CENTENNIAL Hawkins, Texas – May 3, 2011 – Jarvis Christian College National Alumni Association, Hawkins, Texas (JCCNA) launches a campaign to celebrate 100 years of excellence at the school and promote the mission “Imagining the possibilities, one learner at a time”. The campaign will conclude in March 2012 during the school’s Homecoming Celebrations with a formal banquet, family events, and other live entertainment. Proceeds will benefit the JCCNA Scholarship fund, retention efforts of freshman students through the JCC LEGACY program which focuses on assisting new students in becoming successful in college. The Jarvis Christian College National Alumni Association is comprised of Chapters around the United States which support the College though their efforts. With the theme “ Imagining the possibilities, one learner at a time”, JCCNA reaches out to all alumni and community friends with the goal of further increasing scope and impact of JCCNA Scholarship program, to include not only more undergraduate students, but eventually prospective college students. JCCNA continually strives to strengthen and expand its scholarship program means of addressing the growing costs of higher education, and to promote academic excellence as well as community leadership.Jarvis Christian College National Alumni (JCCNA) Association Mission Statement JCCNA of Jarvis Christian College is committed to promoting the academic and professional development of the Jarvis community. The new website will enable alumni to sign up and keep connected to the various social network channels of the association. The JCCNA also will be launching a separate website for the Million Dollar Baby Campaign in order for potential supporters can learn more about the campaign and listen to various alumni describe their experiences at Jarvis.
