Student Academic Success Busara Establishing a precedence and standard of excellence begins the moment a student enters college. Busara, Jarvis’ Pre-Honors Program, is designed to enhance students’ critical thinking, writing, and relational skills beginning with their first semester. By connecting reading, writing, debates, and current events, Busara creates an environment attentive to students’ academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth. The skills, tutelage, mentorship, and knowledge gained through Busara prepare students to be analytical, well versed, and fully prepared to excel throughout the collegiate career at Jarvis and in their future endeavors.
