The Office of Housing and Residence Life works diligently to provide each student with a comfortable, safe environment structured to enhance the academic atmosphere of the College by encouraging students to take responsibility for their educational experience and provide resources to be responsible students. Policies and procedures related to on-campus housing are described in the Student Handbook and the Residential Handbook. Student Development

Jarvis Christian College provides quality, collaborative, and integrated programs and services to students from orientation to graduation and bridges students’ academic experience with programs, services, activities and resources that engage students from the moment they enter their college experience. New Student Orientation at Jarvis Christian College is designed to embrace students the moment they enter their College experience. An orientation program is held prior to the beginning of classes in the fall and spring semester to assist incoming students in adjusting to college life. New Student Orientation utilizes key College personnel to greet students with academically stimulating and career-enhancing information and activities that set the student on the path to graduation. Ultimately, New Student Orientation serves as the gateway for students as they transition for secondary experiences to a rigorous, collegiate environment and sets the tone for their matriculation as Jarvis Christian College students. Students are giving the opportunity to join several student organizations, academic clubs, Student Government Association and becoming a member of one of our fraternities and sororities.
