MISSION

The Office of Institutional Advancement and Development’s mission is to increase awareness, understanding, and support for the university’s mission. We are committed to:

Fostering Relationships: Building and nurturing meaningful connections with our alumni, friends, and partners to strengthen the bonds within our community.

Securing Resources: Enabling the university to thrive by garnering essential resources, including financial support, expertise, and knowledge-sharing.

Alumni Relations: Connecting graduates with their alma mater, fostering a sense of belonging, and providing opportunities for continued growth and collaboration.

Fundraising: Strategically securing financial resources that drive innovation, scholarship opportunities, and the expansion of critical programs.

Engagement and Events: Orchestrating a range of events, from lectures and symposia to reunions and celebrations, that bring our community together.

Communications and Outreach: Sharing stories of success, progress, and impact to inspire and inform our global network.

Office of Alumni Affairs

The Office of Alumni Affairs is the liaison between the alumni and the University by building life-long relationships and working with the National Alumni Association. We work with alumni to recruit and retain quality students, mentor current students about career options, encourage financial support to the University, maintain accurate membership and contact information, and communicate to the alumni and other constituents the achievements and activities of the alumni and the University.

The purpose of the Annual Fund effort is to effectively raise funds from all constituency groups, encouraging annual contributions that support and advance the mission of the College. Gifts to the Annual Fund (Unrestricted Fund), support the College’s strong commitment to the College’s support of it students.

Endowment Opportunities

Creating a named endowed scholarship will always provide Jarvis students with financial support. These important scholarships both set an example for future Jarvis students to follow. Named Endowed Scholarships ($25,000) are also possible for $5,000 per year with a guaranteed five-year commitment.
