Jarvis Christian University Invites Prospective Students to Bulldog Preview Day
HAWKINS, Texas — Jarvis Christian University invites prospective students and their families to experience Bulldog Nation during Bulldog Preview Day: Boots, Buckles and Bulldogs on Wednesday, October 7, 2026.
Designed to give future Bulldogs an inside look at the Jarvis experience, Bulldog Preview Day will provide prospective students with opportunities to explore the campus, meet members of the University community, learn about academic programs, discover student life, and take important steps toward becoming a Jarvis student.
“Boots, Buckles and Bulldogs” brings an East Texas flair to the University’s signature preview experience while introducing students to the people, programs, and possibilities available at Jarvis Christian University.
Throughout the day, prospective students and their families will have an opportunity to participate in campus tours, providing a firsthand look at the University’s historic campus in Hawkins. Visitors will also meet Jarvis faculty and staff and learn more about the individuals who will support them throughout their college journey.
Academic exploration will be an important part of the experience. Students will have opportunities to learn about Jarvis’ academic programs and explore pathways connected to their educational and career goals. Prospective Bulldogs can ask questions, learn about available resources, and begin envisioning what their college experience could look like at Jarvis.
Bulldog Preview Day will also introduce visitors to student life at Jarvis. College is about more than the classroom, and the event will allow prospective students to discover opportunities to become involved, build relationships, develop leadership skills, and become part of the Jarvis community.
For students who are ready to take the next step, on-site admission opportunities will also be available during the event. Prospective students are encouraged to come prepared to learn more about the admissions process and how they can begin their journey toward becoming a Jarvis Bulldog.
