Jarvis Christian University will celebrate the rich cultural diversity of its faculty, staff, and students with an international chapel featuring flags of nearly 50 nations.

The one-hour chapel service will begin  at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 26, in the  Smith-Howard Chapel on the Jarvis main campus at U.S. Hwy. 80 and P.R. 7631 in Hawkiins, Texas.  The public is  invited to attend the colorful event featuring international music performed by the Jarvis band and choir, as well as individual stories of coming to America. The reading of Scriptures, prayers and greetings will also include some in native languages.

Students, facult, and staff will prooudly carry the flags of their native homelands as they process in, creating a colorful and meaningful show of cultural diversity and national pride.

Jarvis provides a culturally rich environment where students are empowerd to achieve their career goals through an inclusive and diverse academic experience that prepares them for a life of significance. Whether a student is a recent high school graduate or a working adult seeking career advancement, Jarvis Christian University develops all of its students intellectually, socially, spiritually, and emotionally.
