Jarvis Christian University is proud to announce its participation in the 2025 UNCF North Texas Walk for Education, taking place on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Oak Cliff Founders Park in Dallas, Texas. This exciting community event, hosted by the United Negro College Fund (UNCF), is dedicated to raising funds to support students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) across the nation.
Jarvis Christian University has long been a beneficiary and strong supporter of the mission of UNCF, which works tirelessly to provide scholarships, strengthen member institutions, and ensure that students have access to a high-quality education. By participating in the walk, Jarvis is continuing its commitment to expanding educational opportunities, building community engagement, and fostering Bulldog pride.
The event will begin with registration at 7:00 a.m., followed by the walk at 8:00 a.m. Participants will enjoy a morning filled with energy, community spirit, and a shared commitment to empowering the next generation of leaders. The walk is not only a fundraiser but also a celebration of the resilience and success of HBCUs and their students.
Join the Jarvis Team
Jarvis Christian University is forming an official Jarvis Team for the walk and invites alumni, students, faculty, staff, family, and friends to participate. By joining the team, supporters will help raise critical funds for scholarships and programs that directly impact Jarvis students and others across the HBCU community.

A Cause Worth Walking For
