Description

Fall Convocation is the first formal celebration that opens each new academic year at Jarvis Christian
College. In addition, Fall Convocation is an opportunity for students, faculty, and staff to gather and
reaffirm their common purpose and mission. The Convocation welcomes new and returning students
and faculty to campus and marks the start of the academic year. This annual event features an academic
procession and an official State of the College Address by Jarvis Christian College President as the
keynote speaker. An annual event that occurs during the fall semester, Fall Convocation stands as a
bookend to commencement.
