What We Do
– Choral Performances: The University Concert Choir performs a wide range of music, from classical masterpieces to contemporary works, spirituals, and multicultural pieces. We participate in concerts, university events, and special performances throughout the academic year, both on and off campus.
– Musical Development: Members of the choir receive professional-level training in vocal technique, sight-reading, and ensemble singing. We work with talented directors and guest artists to help each member reach their full potential as a vocalist.
– Community & Fellowship: Being part of the University Choir is about more than just singing—it’s about building a community. Choir members form strong bonds as they rehearse, perform, and grow together, creating memories that last a lifetime.
– Travel & Tours: The choir also has opportunities to participate in regional, national, and international tours, bringing our music to audiences around the world and experiencing new cultures through the lens of choral music.

Concert Choir
The Concert Choir is the premiere ensemble of the Jarvis Christian University Choral program and consists of talented students majoring in music and other disciplines throughout the University. The Concert Choir performs a wide range of genres that Include pop, jazz, spirituals, classical, major and original choral works representing various musical styles, and periods. This ensemble will be responsible for performing in weekly Chapel services, Convocations, Fall/Spring Concerts, and other performances the choir director deems appropriate.
Divine Echoes
Divine Echoes is the elite vocal ensemble of the music department encompassing the top vocalists within the music department. This is an auditioned group and will hold them annually in the fall semester. Members of this ensemble will serve as recruiting ambassadors for the school alongside the choir director as they will perform for various performances the other ensembles cannot commit towards.
Participants in this group may be eligible for scholarship opportunities.
